Forest Sparkle

Forest Sparkle is an outdoor interactive light and sound installation.
When the night falls, adventurous forest wanderers can discover an area with a hidden forest treasure. When undisturbed it quietly glows in mysterious blue light. Once someone approaches Forest Sparkle, it wakes up. Suddenly it chirps like crickets, and waves of bright light start moving over the forest floor.

Forest Sparkle was inspired by Sea Sparkle, the bioluminescent algae that light up in the water when disturbed.
